Drinking Turkish tea on the Bosphorus, in front of Sultanahmet Mosque, Istanbul.
✈ SEATTLE
I passed by this man trying to make a living selling pigeon food to tourists near Istanbul University. There was a sad yet peaceful disposition to him that made me what to capture on photograph.
✈ SHEENA
This was taken in Turkey, Istanbul, historically known as Byzantine and Constantinople. The structure of the mosques really grabbed my attention as it showed such a different form of architecture compared to the western world.
✈ SHEENA
The very photogenic Blue Mosque in Istanbul, flocked by tourists and birds alike.
✈ MONICA
This is the Blue mosque in Istanbul; you can go in here for the service as long as you are in BEFORE it starts (I saw a bunch of tourists miss their chance and walk away looking pretty dissapointed), but fret not, they blast from speakers at nearly all the mosques in Turkish to ‘come and pray’, so just follow the voice if you want to see what it’s all about.
