Amsterdam is among my top favorite cities in Europe. The Canals, house boats, thousands of bikes, the architecture and the spirit of the people make it to an amazing experience no matter in what season you are visiting.

Some of the most interesting parts about traveling are the little things you see and discover and that you never came across before. These details appeared to me while walking through the red light district in Amsterdam. A very interesting area to just stand aside to do some people watching.

“Even if you aren’t a morning person, get out onto the street before 8:30am on a Saturday or Sunday morning, and take a stroll around the canal belt. There are no people, no bikes, and no boats. It’s the kind of silence rarely seen in Amsterdam.”
